Cookies & tracking

1. Summary

• Cookies: none. The Braineura SDK sets no cookies.
• Third-party pixels or scripts (ads, social networks, external analytics): none.
• Own measurement: off.

2. What the Braineura SDK sends

When measurement is on, each event (a page view or a click on “Get started”, “Talk to sales” or checkout) sends:

• the event name and a random event identifier;
• the time;
• a random session identifier, valid only in this tab;
• a random visitor identifier — only with your consent;
• the page path, without query string;
• the referring domain, without the full address;
• campaign UTM parameters;
• an ad click identifier (such as gclid), of which the server keeps only the hash;
• the identifier of the plan clicked (for example, START) and a value, when present.

3. What is never sent

• email, phone number, name or address;
• the full URL query string;
• cookies;
• form fields (this site has no forms).

4. Browser storage

The SDK uses no cookies. It uses browser storage as follows:

• bn_s (sessionStorage): a random session for this tab, with where the visit came from (UTMs, click identifier, referring domain and landing page); renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity and cleared when the tab is closed.
• bn_v (localStorage): a random visitor identifier, created only after your consent and deleted when you decline.
• bn_consent (localStorage): your choice (accept or decline), so we don't ask again.

5. Consent and Global Privacy Control

Since measurement is off, there is no choice to make right now. When it is turned on, a bar will ask for your consent, and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal will be treated as a decline.

6. Where the data goes

Events go directly to Braineura's own collector (https://app.braineura.com/api/v1/collect), which accepts only the origins registered for this site's public key. This site sends no data to ad platforms or other third parties.
